"The Art of Manifesting"
I am combining my November and December 2021 Blog Posts as I wanted to take the time to delve in and experience the topic I am about to share. The “Art of Manifesting” is an amazing place filled with magic, twists n turns and so many tests of your beliefs.
The “Art of Manifesting” can be a powerful journey in materializing your deepest desires. The process encourages deep faith in the notion that you do deserve to have what you deeply desire. The process does not allow for endless thinking or over analyzing, non-belief, or negative mental models. Rather this is about deeply connecting with your heart and inner wisdom to gain the clarity you require to build your dream. The next step is to surrender those deepest desires to a greater force realizing that you alone cannot do it all.
In simplest terms if you surrender and allow the energy around you that already through natural systems of occurrences allows plants to grow, mountains to stand tall, trees to flourish, oceans to move and our hearts to beat. Why not just get out of the way and allow these forces to support you in manifesting your dreams?
How does it all work???
In early November it became a reality that owning a home would be the best path for my future. The challenge before me was that I needed to move quickly as I wanted to have an offer accepted by mid-November and close by mid-December. It was a daunting task; however, over the past many years I had learned the elements of manifesting. Now it was time to bring all that I had learned to this point to manifest my new home. Here is an itemized step by step plan of how I manifested my new home…
Step One: The written word is very powerful. I wrote down a very detailed description of the house I desired. Years ago, I had owned a home that I loved. In my description of my new home I listed in detail all of the features that I so treasured in my previous home. I was clear that I did not want the square footage of my previous home, rather a miniature version was ideal.
This step is all about getting clear. It is NOT about analyzing or over thinking. Think of it as you are starting with a blank canvas. “The Beginners Mind” … Using words and/or pictures draw out in detail what you desire. The key here is in the detail as when you are manifesting you never want to settle so be specific!
It is also very important not to get caught up into exhaustive editing. If you listen to your heart and intuition it will provide the clarity you so require.
Step Two: Review your canvas, make sure it speaks to you and most importantly that it inspires you to go the distance to do the work necessary to manifest. This is important as you must be so committed to your canvas that you deeply connect with a solid unwavering belief in yourself. In addition, have faith that your dream will materialize. When you surrender and have faith in the process the energy around you does not have a choice but to direct you right to your manifestation.
One last thing, make double sure that you have captured every element of what you desire. You have probably heard the saying “be careful what you want as you just may get it!
Step Three: Believe in yourself… That you deserve what it is that you desire. This is the point in which you step into a process called “The Law of Attraction”. You can only attract that which you believe fully in every way. Once you connect with this belief, tuck away your canvas somewhere in your home. As you tuck it away release it fully… “Let it Go” … give it up. DO NOT swoon over your creation… Let it Go!!!
Additionally let go and release all considerations that may creep in. Like that nagging thought that it will never happen. Get out of your own way… release these thoughts/mental models.
**There is one other caveat here… if there is even a smidgen of doubt or non belief the energy forces (the universe) may direct you to a smaller version of your dream. In many ways this can be a great gift as there are some individuals who would not know what to do if they received everything they desired. Therefore, trust, respect and have gratitude for what does show up as the next time you may just manifest it all!
Step Four: This step is all about allowing your desire to come to you. Get out of the way so it can materialize. I call this step the “Law of Allowing”. This means that once you surrender your dream you must then step aside and step forward, continue to live your life while surrounding yourself with the conditions to materialize your dream.
For me this meant taking all necessary steps to ensure I was pre-qualified for a loan, finding a realtor who was able to stand by side holding my vision as we searched for my new home. Additionally, I needed to get on the MLS to search for my new home. By the time all these action items were completed there was nine days remaining to my “by when date”.
Step Five: “Act as if” As I and my realtor searched the MLS, we both focused on the vision that my home was there we just needed to shuffle through the listings until we found it. Additionally, we made a list of only those homes in which the details were close to my canvas and immediately made appointments to view them. Then on the last weekend before the 15th of November the listing describing a miniature version of the townhome, I once owned was on my computer screen staring right at me…. “My New Home”. I knew it was mine and when I toured the home it was in fact a miniature version of the home, I once owned many years previous. It was uncanny the similarities AND it was 100% my canvas with every detail I had written and in the exact zip code I wanted.
Step Six: Receive it fully. … When your dream or a slight modification of your dream has materialized before you Receive it fully in every fiber of your being. You did it! You stayed the course no matter what… now go and fulfill any last actions needed to complete the manifestation!!!
My realtor knew it was a ‘hot listing’, so we went to work and drafted my offer. I also wrote a letter to the owner sharing with her how much I appreciated her home and would look after it.
For me this was the step where it started to get a little shaky as in my history, I know I can get impatient and want to control all outcomes. So, I let go and let the forces around me take control. After 48 hours had gone by, we were told that our offer was solid and that a decision would be forthcoming. During those last 48 hours my little doubting Thomas would start to nag at me saying things like “You won’t get it…” It was at this moment that I completely let go. I felt myself let go of the dream letting myself know that this was my home. In many ways it felt good to just to walk away and just be. Two hours later I received a call from my realtor “You got the house!!” A voice inside me said, “It is only when you can fully let go that the forces can take over”.
Some of you may remember the last scenes in “Star Wars” when Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi voice tells Luke to “Let Go” and when he did the forces around him directed him to materialize the ultimate outcome that aligned with his vision.
Step Seven: Gratitude! It is only in this sacred space of Gratitude that the “Art of Manifesting” works its magic. Always be Grateful for what Was, what IS and what forever Will Be! Enjoy the manifesting that is ahead of you, never doubt and always believe deeply that YOU DO DESERVE!
